VOLUNTEER NEWS
As the outdoor season approaches, it is important for everyone to consider renewing your support of our collective efforts by doing your part as a volunteer. We have volunteer opportunities to fit everyone’s abilities and time commitments. These include:

• Concession stand
• Field maintenance
• Coaching
• Refereeing
• Board of Directors
• Registration

Hollidaysburg Soccer is run by volunteers!!! Your help is needed, and it gives the message to your/our children that you are interested in what is important to them. Volunteering is rewarding, and truly, our organization and our children’s experience will only be as good as our willingness to commit our time and support.

UNIFORMS
The Locker Room, in downtown Hollidaysburg, will now have our uniforms. They have some available now if you need any to replace those that are too small or worn. New Parents may go there or call 695-8515 and get their uniforms and socks for this season.

REGISTRATION
Mark your calendars!!! The registration for the next season, Fall 2008- Spring 2009, will be held on May 15th and May 19th at the Hoss's field complex.

At registration, we will be asking everyone for their email addresses on our forms. This will be used to help us cut some of our costs and time on the phone.

We plan on updating our web site to be able to send mass emails to let everyone know when our games have been cancelled. We can let you know that morning before anyone needs to come to the fields. Your coach will be able to email you about practice times, changes, cancellations. We will also send out an email with links to our newsletter which will save us postage and copy costs. We hope to have this up and running within the next few months.

We would appreciate everyone’s cooperation with this. Please make sure someone at registration gets your email address.
